Co-Founder / CEO for Political Campaigning Education Startup (w/ equity & salary)

We’re looking for an entrepreneur to become our co-founder & CEO w/ significant equity + salary for an education startup around political campaigning, an “OnDeck for Political Campaigning”. This is a startup that our startup studio (Omniu) is incubating with our partner, Majoritas, a leading political campaigning consultancy in the world, with the mission to make political campaigning available to everyone.

We’re currently running the pilot phase for this startup with a team of 3 world-class people. We're looking for a CEO to join us and lead this company!

• About Majoritas Academy (Generic presentation)
  • Our mission is to democratize political campaigning so that anyone can run and the best policies and messages can win, which has a massive societal systemic positive impact.
  • We’re doing this in partnership with Majoritas Global, one of the leading political campaigning consultancies in the world, with over 50+ campaigns (Presidential, Prime Minister, etc) in 30+ countries, by taking their “playbook” and creating an education company around it.
• About Omniu
  • We’re a startup studio that incubates education companies with world-class knowledge experts (individuals or companies). We’ve done this for some of the biggest authors in the world as well as agile and differentiated knowledge companies, creating millions in revenue in partnership. Founded by Catalin Matei, currently in stealth mode and will come up with an announcement at the end of the year.
  • The benefits of joining this company formed in our studio are: access to experts to create courses / etc, access to a very exclusive network of clients, partners, experts, etc, existing and readily available capital for growth, support from our studio on anything you may need. This allows the right founder to focus on building a great product and sell it. We can talk more about this on a call as there's more benefits.
  • Our company has three people working on this startup as we’re currently in the pilot phase (month 2/6): 1) Learning Experience Design (Olimpia Mesa), 2) Marketing & Operations (Simina Ilea), 3) Interim CEO (Catalin Matei). The future CEO can decide to keep or change these members and the Interim CEO will be replaced by you.

About the opportunity

What you’ll do (Responsibilities)

In short, you’ll be running the company and the #1 person in it driving it forward… We’ll be here to support you and help you with anything you need but it will be your company, you’ll be running it, it’s no different than you starting and running your own company - it’s just that you have some extra benefits (capital, network, etc) and support (coaching, advisors, etc).

The long version is the one below, which basically describe the normal startup responsibilities a product-led CEO has in a startup, alongside our existing team:

• Business Strategy & Vision: Owner of the strategy, vision and general direction of the company.
• Business Operations:
  • Finance: set-up clear accounting and bookkeeping with external contractors / solutions, create financial projections / models for the business and product as well as collaborate with fractional finance talent if needed.
  • Legal: collaborate with external legal council to make sure we have the necessary legal foundation for running the business while hiring, doing product, etc.
  • HR / People: Hire and fire the right team.
  • Operations / Processes: Oversee the overall operations and process creation as needed.
• Sales & Business Development:
  • Handle intros from partners to teams, leaders, clients, etc.
  • Lead business development and sales as well as partnerships
• Product Management
  • Discovery
  • Strategy
  • Development
