• We have a ton of complex problems ahead of us, and they're exponentially increasing.
• Our ability to solve problems is evolving only linearly.
• Our ability to learn vs the world's ability to evolve = the gap. "We're linear beings facing an exponential environment."

Why is this important?

• Low adaptability = extinction
• The rate at which we adapt to our environment = rate of evolution

The universe and our role

• The universe tends to go towards entropy, or more chaos.
• The function of consciousness is to make order out of chaos, or negentropy.
• Our ability to create order > Universe's tendency towards chaos = a better world 🌏

Solution

• Accelerate the rate people's ability to adapt to their environment (rate of evolution)
• In order to solve the gap, we need to become better problem-solving machines
• So that they'll have the capacity to solve the complex problems of tomorrow: health, education, agriculture, climate health, etc.
