The big gap of mankind
- We have a ton of complex problems ahead of us, and they're exponentially increasing.
- Our ability to solve problems is evolving only linearly.
- Our ability to learn vs the world's ability to evolve = the gap. "We're linear beings facing an exponential environment."
Why is this important?
- "It's not the strongest of the species that survive but the most adaptable." - Charles Darwin
- Low adaptability = extinction
- The rate at which we adapt to our environment = rate of evolution
The universe and our role
- The universe tends to go towards entropy, or more chaos.
- The function of consciousness is to make order out of chaos, or negentropy.
- Our ability to create order > Universe's tendency towards chaos = a better world 🌏
Solution
- Accelerate the rate people's ability to adapt to their environment (rate of evolution)
- In order to solve the gap, we need to become better problem-solving machines
- So that they'll have the capacity to solve the complex problems of tomorrow: health, education, agriculture, climate health, etc.
Introducing Project One
- Mission: Accelerate the evolution of mankind.
